What is PP automation?

PP is ‘price please’. Automate your reply to PP comments on ads/posts. Send product card in DM (direct message) and increase revenue through Instagram channel

• PP is ‘price please’. Buyers typically ask for pp in response to an ad/post/story. These response can be either in form of comment or dm against that ad/post/story
• Brands can set ‘PP automations’ on their Instagram page so that any queries by customers on their IG posts or reels around price of the product will be answered via an automation.
• Currently an agent has to reply to these comments manually which is not scalable. This also reduces the turn around time to answer queries of their customers.

How to start with PP automations on BIK?

• User can follow these steps:

  1. On BIK dashboard (dashboard.bik.ai), in the Sidebar, go to the Journey tab.
  2. Under the Chatbot tab, open PP automation.

  

  1. On the page that opens up, you will be able to see all the posts that have been posted via Instagram.

  

  1. To add the PP automation to a product, click on the "+" symbol inside the box. A pop-up will appear with all the relevant products in the Facebook catalogue. Select the relevant products.

  

  1. First-time users can then change the keywords on which the PP automation will run, along with the replies made in the comments and the information passed to the DM.

  

  1. PP retargeting can also be set up to increase the chances of driving click within the 24 hour conversation window on Instagram

  

  1. Click on the slider at the top right to make the PP automation live. Click Save.

Recurring task to update mapping of posts with products

Every time a new post goes live on Instagram, the brand will have to add this post to a relevant product from the catalog (following the above mentioned Step 6).

<aside> 💡 Alternatively enable PP AI to auto map the products. Pls note that products get mapped if the caption of the ad/post contains the product name. PP AI does fuzzy AI matching.
