Shopify vs. Offline billing
BIK supports shopify or offline billing which is typically decided at the time of sales/onboarding discussion. Details below:
BIK has primarily two kind of charges a) Platform fees - fixed fee every month (discounts available on yearly billing) b) Usage charges for whatsapp and email
- Shopify billing - Both platform and usage charges are collected via shopify billing. Usage charges are also visible on BIK dashboard for tracking purpose.
- Offline billing - Platform charges are collected through payment links as part of monthly/quarterly invoice. Usage charges are deducted from BIK credits which needs to be recharged on the dashboard itself.

Whatsapp
- We strictly follow the Meta pricing structure broadly outlined here. Though an additional service margin may be applied as per the commercial agreement with BIK. Please contact us at [email protected] for details. Refer Meta pricing document here
- The units of whatsapp pricing - number of messages of each type is directly taken from Meta. See some scenarios as below
- If a marketing message is sent at 10 AM on day 1. We don’t bill if another marketing message is send at 9 AM next day 2 (within 24 hours)
- If a transactional message is sent at 10 AM on day 1 - say order confirmation. If order is shipped within 24 hours on 9 AM on day 2, no additional charge is added
- For CTWA there is no charge till 72 hours of 1st message

- Whatsapp pricing is charged only messages ‘delivered’. Messages that fail aren’t charged
Instagram
- Instagram is a free channel from a usage perspective. There are no charges for Instagram messages
